Blonde v. Brunette

...as in Bitty Twins. I know many of you have the brunette twins and some of you have the blonde. I have never seen these in person. Which set is the cutest? Do not even THINK of saying both, LOL!.

I wish we could mix and match them, then I could get one of each (brunette boy/blonde girl or blond boy/brunette girl). Hey, there is such a thing as fraternal twins, it could happen...

I'm just dreaming of which set I would buy if I could buy one. Not that it will happen anytime soon, but I would love to hear what your preferences are!

I personally would get the brunette twins because they look more like my own darling burnette children. I think the brunette hair sets off the brightly colored outfits in a nice way.

I have no idea how to play with kids that are the age represented by the babies or the twins so I wouldn't buy them -- but I have to admit that I thought the brunette twins were very cute when I saw them in AGPNY.

I would love to split a set with you! Even though I have my own set of real twins, LOL. I'd like the brunette girl and the blond boy! Then I could use the blind Bitty Baby as my twin girl because she was bald until almost 2!! (My boy twin has lots of hair). I can't get them anytime soon either.........But maybe in the future we can split up our sets [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

I think the Brunette twins are cuter! My DD wanted just a girl twin last year for Christmas (this was before the Brunette twins were introduced) so I bought her a blonde twin girl off Ebay on hid it away for Christmas. Then they introduced the Brunette twins and she loved them and decided that Santa needed to bring her the Brunette girl. So I had to buy that one! I still have the poor little blonde girl twin in a box in the basement, I was going to sell her but I keep thinking as soon as I do that one of my girls will want her!

I think both are cute, but I prefer the blond twins simply because in that set, the little girl doll has the open mouth and the boy has the closed mouth, while it is reversed in the brunette set. I think the open mouth makes the little girl twin seem more talkative and a little bit more mischievous, which I really like, since the stereotype is that boys are the loud, naughty children while girls are supposed to be quiet and sweet.

I prefer the brunettes because they are cuter, IMO.

Okay, that was a cover up. The real reason for me prefering the brunettes is that Julia Roberts got the first pair, and Julia's my FAVORITE actress in the world.

I personally like the blond twins better, but I've never seen them in person. I just like light hair better. It's all personal preference! [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

The blonde BT look so washed out to me, I prefer the brunettes! Their darker hair is beautiful with their peachy skin. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]
